Meet Sung Ja Albright
Sung Ja Albright has been working with cheerleaders and dancers for over 30 years, helping to train them for their future careers. She has trained as a dancer, gymnast, cheerleader, and currently works as a choreographer, consultant, judge, and coach as well. She has worked with many athletes over the years helping them achieve their collegiate goals as well as professional goals. Students have gone on to cheer or dance for college programs as well as professional programs throughout the United States.
With a background in gymnastics, dance, and cheer, Sung Ja is able to cater each program to the individual and the skills desired for their program. From private lessons for technique, to setting up stunting sessions for partner skills, or gymnastics/acro privates for tricks, she is able to work with your athlete one on one to help prepare them for the big day .
Sung Ja loves to do team cleaning sessions, team choreography, as well as master classes, consulting, and coaching sessions. She has worked with several dance team programs such as University of Washington, University of Montana, Seattle University, Yelm, Kentridge, Issaquah, Puyallup, Sumner, Hazen, Mercer Island, Wenatchee, Montesano, as well as studio dancers throughout Washington.
Currently, Sung Ja is a part of the Executive Board and previous President for the WSDDCA. She is the assistant dance team coach for the state champion Capital Cougarettes in Olympia, WA, judge for the WSDDJA, and is the College Prep Coordinator for Elite Performance Camps and host of College Day at Elite. In her spare time (which is rare) you can find her spending time with her three children and two fur babies, reading a good book or catching up on her favorite shows.
